How to adjust references
1. Get your picture for reference.(top,front,left/right)
2. Set the grid in
the snap spacing to 0.25, put
orto on , make new Layer call
it "frames".
3. Type the command "PictureFrame"
then choose the file for the top view and set the first corner and
second corner(IN THE TOP VIEW).
now you can see only the frame you can not
SynchronizeViews of frames, if you
want to see the picture use the command"RenderPreview"
4. Do the same to the front and left view.
Tip: In the front view you must see
the side picture of a car, and in the left view you must see the
a front picture of a car.
5. Adjust the frames like I did (see example
in the Perspective view).Verify the adjust by Sphere
and move it in the views accordingly.
6. Use Osnap
End , now you are ready for the command"PlacebackgroundBitmap"
in top,front and left views.
.....Hahaa,
It's easy now just put it on the frames !!
7. Hide the layer with
the frames OnLayerOff
, now you can trace the pictures.
8. from time to time you can bring back the
frames to see your work on a back ground.
Hope you like this method !
This system is great because it's very easy
to change pictures like top bottom or left right in case you need,
just put the picture on the frame with Osnap!!
BTW, You can
use PictureFrame to
install backgrounds on your scene or you can split them to get figures
like man etc', it's split .the shape
but not in the trace position.
